PalmPay has inaugurated a new office at 33 Old Yaba Road, Lagos, as part of efforts to strengthen its operational capacity and deepen its presence in Nigeria’s financial technology ecosystem.
The company said the new facility reflects continued investment in its workforce, infrastructure and service delivery, as it scales operations to meet growing demand for digital financial services. Designed to support PalmPay’s expanding team, the workspace is expected to improve cross-functional collaboration and enhance customer service across the country.
Located in Yaba, a major commercial and technology hub in Lagos, the office positions PalmPay closer to Nigeria’s innovation community and reinforces its role within the broader financial services landscape.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, PalmPay’s Managing Director, Chika Nwosu, described the new office as a milestone in the company’s growth journey. He said the facility underscores PalmPay’s commitment to building secure, reliable and inclusive financial solutions for individuals and businesses.
According to Nwosu, the expansion aligns with PalmPay’s long-term strategy of investing in people and systems that enable the company to deliver financial services at scale while maintaining high standards of reliability and security.
The launch event was attended by members of PalmPay’s management team, employees and customers, who toured the new office and marked the company’s progress since its entry into the Nigerian market.
PalmPay said the new office would support its mission to drive financial inclusion through technology, as it continues to roll out innovative digital products tailored to the needs of underserved communities.
Since launching operations in Nigeria in 2019 under a Mobile Money Operator licence, PalmPay has grown to more than 35 million app users and processes up to 15 million transactions daily. The company currently operates in Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania and Bangladesh.
