MultiChoice Nigeria has announced a leadership change, appointing Kemi Omotosho as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2026.

She succeeds the long-serving CEO John Ugbe, who is retiring after nearly 15 years of leading the company through significant industry shifts.

Omotosho is an experienced executive with over two decades in media and telecommunications, having previously served in several senior roles within the MultiChoice Group, most recently as Regional Director for Southern Africa.

In her new position, she will oversee the company’s strategy and operations, stating her commitment to championing local storytelling and building a future-ready organisation.
