South African billionaire Johann Rupert’s luxury goods company, Richemont, has reported a 10% increase in sales, reaching $20 billion for the nine months ended December 31, 2025.

The impressive performance is driven by strong demand for high-value jewelry, with the Jewelry Maisons segment posting 14% growth at constant exchange rates. Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Buccellati, and Vhernier contributed significantly to this growth.

Richemont’s retail network remains robust, accounting for approximately 72% of sales, with a 12% increase at constant rates to €4.6 billion ($5.35 billion) in Q3.

The company’s diversified global footprint and strong brand appeal are evident, with notable gains in the Americas, Japan, and the Middle East & Africa.

With a robust net cash position of €7.6 billion ($8.83 billion), Richemont is well-positioned to continue investing in Maison expansion and strategic initiatives.

Rupert, who owns 10.18% of Richemont but controls 51% of voting rights, emphasizes the group’s focus on heritage brands celebrated for craftsmanship and timeless design.
