LG Electronics has formally revealed a broad suite of artificial intelligence-enabled home technologies designed to upgrade everyday living environments and commercial spaces across the Middle East and Africa. The company showcased these innovations at two major industry events, InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi and Mega HORECA 2026 in Nigeria, highlighting a clear strategic push to make advanced AI home solutions both globally competitive and locally relevant.
The rollout underscores LG’s intent to build an interconnected smart ecosystem in which appliances, air systems and lifestyle technologies operate with greater efficiency and user adaptability. At the core of this effort is an emphasis on seamless device interaction, enhanced convenience, energy optimisation and personalised outcomes across diverse use cases.
At InnoFest 2026, LG laid out its vision for the MEA region by presenting an extended portfolio of AI-driven home and lifestyle solutions. The company described this lineup as part of its expanding smart ecosystem where multiple technologies work together to improve daily experiences and support sustainable living.
Key product highlights included AI Wash and AI Dry laundry technologies that automatically recognise fabric types and load sizes to optimise washing and drying cycles while lowering energy use. LG also put forward its premium 29-inch LG SIGNATURE Wash Combo, noted for its high capacity, and extended the WashTower range into several size options to suit varying household layouts.
In the kitchen segment, LG introduced its ‘Fit & Max’ concept along with intelligent refrigeration units. The LG InstaView French door refrigerator drew attention for features such as a seamless zero-clearance hinge and AI Fresh cooling that adjusts performance based on usage patterns, reinforcing LG’s competitive position in the region’s refrigerator market.
Building on these introductions, LG presented the same smart technologies at Mega HORECA 2026 to give business operators, hospitality professionals and consumers firsthand access to its AI solutions. Exhibits included adaptive cooling refrigerators, smart laundry systems, intelligent cooking tools and advanced air-conditioning units tailored for both domestic and commercial environments.
Among the notable products at Mega HORECA was LG’s flagship dehumidifier from its Eco Solutions range, engineered for quiet operation and significant moisture reduction, a reflection of the company’s attention to indoor air quality, comfort and health-focused design principles.
LG West Africa’s President, Mr. Hyoung Sub Ji, reiterated the company’s commitment to delivering user-centric, locally optimised solutions that deliver practical benefits for customers throughout the region. “LG is committed to delivering user-centric, locally optimised solutions that make everyday life more convenient for customers across the Middle East and Africa,” he said.
Overall, LG’s strategy is anchored in leveraging artificial intelligence to make smart living more intuitive, efficient and adaptable, with a firm focus on real-world utility and market relevance across different regions.
