Tetracore Energy Group has announced the appointment of Mr. Dayo Williams, its former Programme Executive, as the new Managing Director of Tetracore Energy Group Subsidiaries.
The move signals the company’s commitment to deepening leadership excellence and strengthening its footprint in Africa’s energy space.
In his new capacity, Williams will oversee the strategic direction, growth, and operational performance of the Group’s subsidiaries—Tetracore Energy Limited, Tetracore Gas Limited, and Tetracore CNG Solutions Limited.
His mandate includes aligning these businesses with Tetracore’s mission of delivering sustainable and transformative energy solutions across the continent.
A Seasoned Professional with Proven Impact
Williams, a seasoned expert in commercial law and business development strategy, brings over 15 years of experience leading large-scale energy projects across Nigeria’s oil, gas, and power sectors. His work has been instrumental in executing several of Tetracore’s key projects, including the deployment of a 6.2 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) CNG mother station in Ogun State and the ongoing construction of a 5.2mmscfd mother station in Tema, Ghana.
He also spearheaded initiatives such as mini-LNG hubs, embedded gas-to-power solutions for industrial clusters, and the rapidly expanding Auto CNG delivery network currently supplying Dangote Cement’s CNG-powered trucks.
Beyond his work within Tetracore, Williams serves as Deputy Chairman of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Power Sector Group, contributing to national energy policy on tariffs, grid decentralisation, and gas-to-power systems.
