The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) has opened applications for a 150 million dollar business expansion loan aimed at supporting manufacturers and transport companies across Nigeria.
The funding programme is designed to help eligible businesses expand their operations, improve production capacity, purchase equipment and strengthen their overall competitiveness. It also seeks to improve access to affordable financing for businesses that have struggled to secure long term loans through conventional lending channels. According to NACCIMA, the initiative targets companies with growth potential that require additional capital to scale their operations and contribute more significantly to Nigeria’s economy.
The association encouraged qualified manufacturers and transport firms to submit their applications before the deadline, noting that only businesses that meet the required conditions will be considered.NACCIMA explained that the facility is expected to support business growth, create employment opportunities and improve productivity in key sectors of the economy. The organisation believes easier access to finance remains one of the biggest challenges facing businesses in Nigeria, particularly manufacturers dealing with rising production costs and transport operators seeking to modernise their fleets.
The association said businesses interested in the programme should carefully review the eligibility requirements and complete the application process within the specified period. It noted that successful applicants would be able to access funding that could be used for expansion projects, acquisition of machinery and equipment, fleet upgrades, working capital and other approved business needs.
NACCIMA also stressed that the programme aligns with its broader efforts to support private sector growth and strengthen Nigeria’s industrial and transport sectors. By improving access to financing, the association hopes more businesses will increase production, boost efficiency and contribute to economic development. The organisation urged businesses not to delay their applications, saying interested firms should take advantage of the opportunity while the application window remains open.
Speaking on the initiative, NACCIMA said the programme is intended to provide businesses with the financial support needed to unlock growth opportunities and remain competitive in an increasingly challenging business environment. The association reaffirmed its commitment to promoting enterprise development and supporting policies that encourage investment, industrialisation and sustainable economic growth across Nigeria. It added that improving access to finance remains a critical step toward helping businesses expand, create jobs and strengthen the country’s productive capacity.
