On Thursday, October 30, 2025, the Solitary Evolution Academy and The Elite Conference made history with the ground-breaking Ogun GenZ Evolution Conference 2.0, themed “Building Human Capacity”. Central to the event was the compelling topic: “Your Tactical Team – Building a Circle That Elevates You: Purpose | Education | Peer Pressure.”
Held at The Eagle Executive Hall in Mowe, Ogun State, the conference convened over 200 students and youth from public and private schools across the Obafemi-Owode axis. Key dignitaries, including the Honourable Member representing Obafemi-Owode Constituency, the Local Government Chairman, CDC Executives and other community leaders lent their support, turning the gathering into a hub of vision, connection and inspiration.
More than 15 experienced speakers took to the stage to address themes of purpose discovery, education pathways, leadership, the power of one’s peer circle and the critical impact of surrounding oneself with the right team. Each session left attendees energised, challenged, and encouraged to take responsibility for their own future.
A standout moment of the day was the Essay Competition Award Ceremony: Senior Secondary 3 students were awarded free 2026 JAMB registrations, while SS1 and SS2 students received fully-paid entries into a national competition (the Erudyte Spelltacular competition), all generously funded by the conference organisers.
In the words of convener Olugbenga Tolulope, “This is not just an event, it’s a movement. We’re raising a generation that understands that capacity, character, and community are the real currencies of success.”
Parents and educators in attendance praised the initiative as timely, transformative, and unforgettable. Students shared testimonials of how the conference has reshaped their view of friendship, purpose and self-development.
This successful edition is just the beginning. Plans are already set for the next phase in Lagos State, as the vision to build human capacity among young people continues to spread.
