The Gateway International Airport was inaugurated by President Bola Tinubu on April 4, marking a significant addition to Nigeria’s aviation infrastructure and a key component of Ogun State’s economic development strategy.
Afolabi noted that SAHCO’s partnership with Allied Air would enhance cargo operations, ensuring efficient processing of time-sensitive and high-value goods. He added that the modern warehouse complex would support both import and export operations, improving turnaround time and service delivery, with the development expected to boost capacity across agriculture, manufacturing, and e-commerce sectors.
