Agribusiness firm Olam Agri has been certified as a Top Employer 2026 in Nigeria by the Top Employers Institute, marking the sixth consecutive year the company has received the recognition.
The certification, disclosed in a statement made available on Wednesday, underscores Olam Agri’s continued focus on building a high-performing and engaging workplace through structured people strategies, independent assessment and practices that support employee growth and business performance.
Beyond Nigeria, Olam Agri also retained its status as a Top Employer across Africa for the sixth straight year. The company was certified in nine countries, including Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Mozambique, Senegal, South Africa, Australia, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
The Top Employers Institute, a global authority in human resource certification and benchmarking, operates in 131 countries and regions. Its certification programme evaluates organisations using an extensive HR Best Practices Survey that covers key areas such as people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning and development, diversity, equity and inclusion, and employee wellbeing.
Commenting on the achievement, Senior Vice President and Regional Head of Human Resources at Olam Agri, Jaideep Biswas, said the consistent recognition reflects the company’s deliberate approach to employee engagement and workforce development.
“Securing the Top Employer certification for the sixth consecutive year reinforces our commitment to building an engaged, inspired and satisfied workforce. Our people are our greatest asset, and we continue to deploy programmes that promote excellence, collaboration and shared learning,” Biswas said.
Also speaking, Olam Agri Nigeria Country Head, Anil Nair, noted that the company’s people-focused culture aligns with its broader mission of ensuring food security while fostering professional fulfilment.
