The Founder of 40 Under 40 Nigeria, Dr. Amb. Omotayo Salako, has arrived in Accra, Ghana, to participate in the highly anticipated Africa 100, a landmark Pan-African gathering organized by the Pan African Youth Leadership Foundation.

Themed “League of Exceptional 2026,” the African 100 is set to convene an influential mix of leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and policy shapers from across the continent. The event aims to spotlight individuals and institutions driving excellence, innovation, and sustainable development in Africa’s evolving landscape.

Dr. Omotayo’s presence at the gathering underscores his continued commitment to youth leadership development, enterprise growth, and the creation of platforms that amplify African excellence. As the convener of multiple high-impact initiatives, including the TIME Conference, 40Under40 Nigeria Awards and the 100 persons of the year award, he has consistently championed conversations that empower emerging leaders and entrepreneurs.

Speaking ahead of the event, Dr. Salako emphasized the importance of collaboration across borders:

“Africa’s future will be shaped by leaders who are not only visionary but also collaborative. Platforms like the Africa 100 create the space for shared ideas, partnerships, and collective progress.”

The African 100 Conference and Awards is widely regarded as a significant convergence point for forward-thinking leaders across Africa, offering opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and recognition of outstanding contributions.

As anticipation builds, stakeholders across sectors are looking forward to impactful conversations and strategic alliances that will emerge from this historic gathering in Accra.

Dr. Salako’s participation further reinforces Nigeria’s strong representation in continental leadership conversations and highlights the growing influence of platforms dedicated to celebrating excellence and driving meaningful impact across Africa.
