Baker Homes has launched Mint Court Phase 2, a 10-acre residential development along the Papalanto Expressway in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The development was officially unveiled on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with real estate professionals, prospective buyers and other stakeholders attending the launch, according to The Guardian’s report published September 30, 2026.
The launch follows Baker Homes’ earlier announcement of the project and comes as the company expands its property portfolio after the sale of some of its previous developments. The Guardian reported that Baker Homes said the success of its earlier projects informed the decision to introduce another phase of Mint Court.
Baker Homes’ Head of Projects and Development, Olusegun Osundina, said at the launch that Mint Court Phase 2 was part of the company’s effort to create property opportunities based on location, documentation and value. He also said the response to Phase 1 had influenced the decision to develop the second phase.
The project had been announced ahead of the launch. THISDAY reported on September 23, 2026 that Baker Homes had signed Nollywood actor Jide Awobona as a brand partner ahead of the September 26 unveiling of the 10-acre development.
According to Baker Homes’ official website, Mint Court is located in Mowe, Ogun State, and offers residential plots ranging from 300sqm to 600sqm. The company lists the property title as a Certificate of Occupancy and says plots are available for immediate allocation upon payment.
The company’s official property page also lists Mint Court among its residential land developments in Ogun State, describing the estate as offering features including a gated community, road network, recreational facilities and electricity.
At the September 26 launch, Baker Homes said Mint Court Phase 2 was being offered at an Independence Day promotional price of ₦8 million for a 300sqm plot until October 14, 2026, after which the minimum price would rise to ₦10 million. The Guardian also reported that the company said the advertised prices were all-inclusive and that buyers would receive instant allocation after completing payment.
Mint Court Phase 1, which preceded the new development, was introduced in 2022 and sold out in 2025, according to Baker Homes as reported by The Guardian. The company said prices for Phase 1 rose from about ₦5 million at launch to between ₦25 million and ₦30 million during the period.
Baker Homes said its wider portfolio has also recorded sales across projects including Fork Hill in Kuje, Abuja, and Genesis Blocks at Maralago Lake City along the Gwarinpa-Kubwa Expressway.
With the launch of Mint Court Phase 2, Baker Homes is now taking the new development to the market while building on the sales performance of its earlier projects, according to the company.
