Access Bank noted that the Euromoney Awards for Excellence are among the most respected honours in the global banking industry. The awards go beyond measuring financial results by also considering innovation, leadership, customer satisfaction, governance, strategic planning, and long-term value creation. Euromoney has organised the awards for more than 30 years, making them an important benchmark for banking excellence worldwide.
Reacting to the achievements, Access Bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Roosevelt Ogbonna, said the awards reflect the trust customers have placed in the bank as well as the dedication of its employees and business partners. He explained that the recognition confirms the bank’s commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, responsible growth, and sustainable development.
Ogbonna also thanked customers, employees, and partners for their continued support, adding that Access Bank will remain focused on creating lasting value while contributing to Africa’s economic growth through quality financial services.
The bank believes the awards will further strengthen customer confidence and improve its reputation among investors, regulators, correspondent banks, development finance institutions, and multinational organisations. It also expects the recognition to support its efforts to provide better digital banking services, faster transactions, stronger security systems, and wider international banking connections.
With these latest honours, Access Bank continues to position itself as a major force in Africa’s banking sector, demonstrating its commitment to innovation, customer-focused services, and sustainable business growth across the continent.
