Andela Inc., the fast-growing tech talent platform known for connecting engineers with top companies worldwide, has officially acquired Woven, a specialist technical assessment firm that uses real-world scenarios and AI tools to evaluate engineering skills. The move is designed to enhance Andela’s ability to judge the readiness of engineers for modern, AI-driven roles, a critical capability as demand for such talent explodes across industries.
By bringing Woven’s assessment technology into its ecosystem, Andela aims to build more effective, precise evaluations of engineers’ abilities and better match them with the exact skills employers need. The acquisition was announced on Thursday and is expected to speed up Andela’s product roadmap by incorporating Woven’s content, evaluation tools, and domain know-how into its platform.
