Nigerian logistics giant SIFAX Group is kicking off 2026 with an ambitious, innovation-led growth plan focused on expanding its presence across West Africa.
In his New Year’s message, Chairman Dr. Taiwo Afolabi announced that the company’s strategy, themed “Growth through Innovation,” will prioritize operational excellence, sustainability, and deeper technology integration across its diverse business units, including maritime, logistics, aviation, and financial services.
Afolabi emphasized that SIFAX will build on its strong 2025 performance by investing in technology to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and expand the use of cleaner energy solutions.
The plan specifically targets scaling the company’s financial services offerings, like the recently launched regional payment platform SKYPAY Africa, throughout the West African sub-region.
This strategic push follows a successful 2025, which saw significant achievements despite economic challenges.
Milestones included a 155.45% profit surge for its aviation handling subsidiary, SAHCO, and the launch of direct Less-than-Container Load (LCL) exports to the United Kingdom, enhancing Nigeria’s export capabilities.
Afolabi stressed that the company remains dedicated to its long-term vision of becoming a trusted, resilient, and ethical global conglomerate based in Africa.
