Fortuna Capital Limited has commenced operations in Nigeria’s asset management industry, targeting individuals, corporates, institutions and high-net-worth investors with professionally managed investment and wealth-management solutions.
Fortuna Capital Limited, which is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a Fund/Portfolio Manager, said its entry into the market is aimed at making disciplined, professionally managed investing more accessible to a broad range of investors.
The SEC’s register lists Fortuna Capital as an active Fund/Portfolio Manager, with a registration date of June 23, 2026. The company is listed under SEC file number 3153 and has its registered address at 32 Ibeju Lekki Road, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos.
According to the company, its investment offering will include discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management, investment advisory and related services designed around clients’ investment objectives, risk tolerance and financial goals.
Under discretionary portfolio management, investment decisions are made by professional managers within an agreed mandate, while non-discretionary arrangements allow clients to retain final authority over investment decisions while receiving professional advice.
Fortuna Capital said its investment philosophy will be anchored on research-driven decision-making, disciplined risk management and a long-term approach to wealth creation and preservation.
The company said its leadership team brings experience spanning banking, capital markets and asset management, which it believes will provide a strong foundation for delivering investment solutions to clients.
Stella Eziuka, Global Head of Wealth Advisory at Fortuna Capital, said the company’s launch was intended to establish more than another investment management business.
“We are not just launching a fund management business; we are building a platform that puts the investor first, backed by discipline, sound research and a genuine commitment to helping Nigerians grow and protect their wealth,” Eziuka said.
She added that the company’s approval to offer discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management services reflected confidence in its capacity to serve investors responsibly.
The launch comes as Nigeria’s financial market continues to offer investors a wider range of alternatives to traditional savings, with asset managers competing to attract individuals and institutions seeking professional management of their funds.
For Fortuna Capital, the focus will be on combining investment research, portfolio management and advisory services to help clients navigate changing market conditions while pursuing their longer-term financial objectives.
The company said it intends to build its position as a trusted investment partner by providing structured strategies tailored to clients’ needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.
Fortuna Capital Limited is registered with the SEC as a Fund/Portfolio Manager and is based in Lagos. The company said it will provide discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management, investment advisory and related services to individuals, corporates and institutions in Nigeria.
