Guinness Nigeria Plc says it has entered a new phase of growth, supported by stronger profitability, a healthier balance sheet and continued investment in its brands and operations.
The company disclosed this during its H1 2026 Investors and Analysts Call, where Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Girish Sharma, Finance and Strategy Director Mayank Kabra, and Corporate Relations and Legal Director Rotimi Odusola reviewed the company’s performance and outlook.
According to Guinness Nigeria, revenue reached approximately ₦265 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2026, while profit after tax rose by 53% to ₦25.3 billion.
The company also recorded stronger net sales and operating profit, which management attributed to improved operational efficiency and its focus on quality growth.
Guinness Nigeria said shareholders’ equity increased from ₦43.3 billion to ₦64.2 billion, while net debt fell from about ₦37 billion to approximately ₦19 billion.
Sharma said the company remained focused on building sustainable growth through continued investment in its brands, manufacturing capacity and distribution network.
The brewer’s improved financial position follows a period of restructuring and renewed investment in the Nigerian market.
The company said its stronger balance sheet provides a firmer foundation for further investment while allowing it to pursue growth opportunities in Nigeria’s competitive consumer market.
The latest outlook signals a shift from recovery toward sustained expansion as Guinness Nigeria seeks to strengthen its brands, operations and market position.
