Chapel Hill Denham has received three prestigious honours at the 2026 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, reinforcing its position as one of Africa’s leading investment banking firms.

During the award ceremony held in London, the company won Africa’s Best Investment Bank for Financial Institutions, Nigeria’s Best Investment Bank, and Nigeria’s Best Investment Bank for Equity Capital Markets.

The recognition highlights the firm’s outstanding performance in providing financial advisory services, raising capital, and supporting major investment deals across Africa. The award for Africa’s Best Investment Bank for Financial Institutions acknowledges Chapel Hill Denham’s strong track record in serving banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions across the continent.

The company also celebrated another milestone by winning Nigeria’s Best Investment Bank for the fifth consecutive year. Over the past 15 years, Chapel Hill Denham has earned this prestigious title 11 times, demonstrating its consistency and leadership in Nigeria’s financial sector.

In addition, the firm received the Nigeria’s Best Investment Bank for Equity Capital Markets award. This honour recognises its success in helping companies raise funds through the stock market and providing expert advice on equity financing transactions.

Reacting to the achievement, the Chief Executive Officer of Chapel Hill Denham, Bolaji Balogun, expressed appreciation for the recognition and dedicated the awards to the company’s clients and partners.

According to Balogun, the awards reflect the firm’s commitment to supporting Africa’s economic development by helping businesses and institutions access the funding they need to grow.

He noted that Africa’s future depends heavily on increased investment and stronger capital markets, adding that Chapel Hill Denham remains committed to playing an important role in financing businesses, infrastructure, and other key development projects across the continent.

Balogun also thanked the company’s clients for their continued confidence and trust in handling some of their most important financial transactions.

He said the firm remains focused on delivering high-quality financial advisory services while creating long-term value for investors, businesses, and the wider economy.

The Euromoney Awards for Excellence are regarded as one of the most respected honours in the global financial industry. Every year, the awards recognise banks, investment firms, and financial institutions that have demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation, and leadership in their markets.

Winning three major awards in a single year further strengthens Chapel Hill Denham’s reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading investment banks and a key player in Africa’s financial services industry.

The latest recognition also reflects the growing importance of African investment banks in supporting economic growth through capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, equity financing, and strategic financial advisory services.

With another successful year added to its record, Chapel Hill Denham continues to build its reputation as a trusted financial partner for businesses, governments, and investors seeking opportunities across Nigeria and the rest of Africa.

The firm’s consistent success at the Euromoney Awards highlights its dedication to excellence, innovation, and client service, while reinforcing its contribution to strengthening Africa’s financial markets and attracting investment that supports long-term economic development.
