BREAKING: Kebbi Assembly Speaker Muhammad Usman Zuru Passes Away in Egypt

The Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Muhammad Usman Zuru, has died in an Egyptian hospital where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed illness.

Zuru, who represented Zuru Constituency, was a key figure in the legislature and his death has been met with shock and condolences from the Kebbi State Government and beyond.

An aide to the governor, Idris Zuru, confirmed the news, describing it as a “painful loss not only to Kebbi State but to the entire nation”.

The government will announce burial arrangements in consultation with the family.
