Folio Africa has appointed Dele Odugbemi as Group Chief Operating Officer, effective 5 October, 2026.

Mr. Odugbemi, who holds an MBA, brings more than 25 years of experience across telecommunications, media, advertising, publishing and technology, with work spanning over 35 African markets.

In his new role, he will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Folio Africa group, with a focus on business performance, operational excellence, revenue growth, efficiency and the execution of Group strategy.

He joins from JCDecaux Africa, where he was Chief Revenue Officer, overseeing commercial and revenue strategy across 18 markets. His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at Borderless, Grey Africa (WPP), Aegis Media Africa and Ogilvy Africa Media. He was also part of the launch team that established MTN Nigeria.

Mr. Odugbemi has extensive experience in business transformation, P&L management, market expansion, digital transformation, strategic partnerships and executive leadership. He holds an MBA in Technology Management and a B.Sc. in Agriculture, both from Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Chinyere Eyo, Chief Corporate Officer at Folio Africa, said the entire Folio team welcomes him to the Group and wishes him the best of luck.
