LG Electronics has unveiled a wide range of artificial intelligence-powered home appliances as it moves to strengthen its foothold in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), where competition in the consumer electronics market is intensifying.
The company introduced the new lineup at LG InnoFest 2026 MEA, held in Abu Dhabi from February 3 to 5. The exhibition, themed “Innovation, Forward Together,” marks the return of LG’s flagship regional event after a seven-year hiatus and highlights products designed specifically for MEA consumer needs.
According to LG, the event underscores its long-term commitment to the region, where it continues to expand its presence across home appliances, built-in kitchen solutions, and cleaning technologies.
In the laundry category, LG showcased larger-capacity residential appliances incorporating its proprietary AI Core-Tech. Features such as AI Wash and AI Dry are designed to optimise washing and drying performance based on usage patterns and fabric types.
Leading the lineup is the 29-inch LG SIGNATURE WashCombo™, positioned as the world’s largest-capacity all-in-one washer-dryer. LG also expanded its WashTower™ range with a new 25-inch model, complementing existing 24-inch and 27-inch versions to suit different installation needs. The vertical design integrates washer and dryer units to maximise space efficiency.
Also unveiled was a new 27-inch WashCombo™ with a 25-kilogram washing capacity and 21-kilogram drying capacity, powered by LG’s DUAL Inverter HeatPump™ technology for improved energy efficiency and stable drying. The company further displayed a redesigned front-load washer featuring a flat exterior, integrated LCD display, and AI Direct Drive™ motor.
Beyond residential use, LG said it is extending its laundry solutions into the commercial segment, offering app- and API-based systems that allow remote monitoring and management of operations.
In kitchen appliances, LG highlighted its “Fit & Max” concept, which blends built-in aesthetics with smart functionality. The lineup includes LG InstaView™ French Door refrigerators with Zero Clearance hinges and AI Fresh technology, alongside a new bottom freezer model designed for seamless installation. LG said the range reinforces its position as the region’s leading refrigerator brand.
Cooking solutions on display include an updated SolarDOM™ All-in-One Microwave Oven with Wi-Fi connectivity, a semi-built-in design, and up to 60 Auto Cook menus, as well as an upgraded dishwasher range featuring QuadWash® Pro and AI SenseClean technologies.
The exhibition also featured LG’s total cleaning solutions, including a Wet & Dry stick vacuum and a robot vacuum with steam mopping technology.
“LG is committed to delivering user-centric, locally optimized solutions that make everyday life more convenient for customers across the Middle East and Africa,” said Hyoung Sub Ji, LG West Africa Subsidiary President. “Through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting value and shared growth in this dynamic region.”
