Dangote Cement Plc has rescheduled its board meeting to October 27, 2026, bringing it forward by two days as the company prepares to consider its unaudited financial statements for the third quarter of the year.

In an updated notice dated October 15, 2026, and filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the cement manufacturer said the meeting was initially scheduled for October 29, 2026 but would now hold on October 27, 2026.

The board will discuss various matters, including the company’s unaudited financial statements for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.

The notice was signed by Edward Imoedemhe, the company’s secretary. Dangote Cement said all other details contained in its earlier announcement of September 30, 2026, remain unchanged.

The company has not yet released its third-quarter financial results.

The revised meeting date comes as investors await fresh financial figures from Nigeria’s largest cement producer, which operates in a sector closely linked to construction activity, housing development and infrastructure spending.

Dangote Cement’s quarterly results provide investors with information on its revenue, profitability, operating costs and business performance during the period.

The company has maintained a closed trading period for insiders ahead of the release of its third-quarter results. According to the October 15, 2026 notice, the restriction will end 24 hours after the unaudited financial statements and the relevant board resolutions are made public.

Closed trading periods restrict insiders from trading in a company’s securities during designated periods when they may have access to unpublished price-sensitive information.

The updated notice did not state why the board meeting was rescheduled.

Dangote Cement is listed on the NGX under the ticker DANGCEM. Its third-quarter financial statements are expected to provide investors with an updated picture of the company’s performance in the first nine months of 2026.
